Birth of the Salty Belt in 2019: the first waterproof sports belt
Jean-Baptiste Caste created the ALL-IN brand with the aim of making life easier for water sports enthusiasts of which he is a part. And JB, surfer and former windsurf professional, has a recurring problem… What to do with car keys and cell phone during a session? First idea: hide the keys on the car wheel? Not very secure and a little stressful! Or even leave your smartphone at home? Too bad if there is an emergency or a nice photo to take …
If you also practice surfing for example, or windsurfing, kitesurfing, wakeboarding, stand up paddle etc… or even swimmers in the open sea… You are then inevitably confronted with this recurring and handicapping problem.
And then one Christmas day, while JB is skiing with friends, he sees something that inspires him. One of his friends grabs his wallet, hidden under his jacket thanks to a shoulder bag which also contains his smartphone, his keys, his papers etc … This is how JB begins to imagine the SALTY BELT sports belt pouch ALL-IN. This waterproof belt will surprise you with its many advantages.
A waterproof sports belt for everyone
First, for more than 6 months, JB develops and tests this new 100% waterproof sports bag. Then the belt is put to the test in different sports. Surfing and windsurfing of course, but also kitesurfing, wakeboarding, stand up paddleboarding, swimming and even cycling, in the rain… In the end, it was a success. The belt responds perfectly to the problems of athletes while being perfectly comfortable. Position it at the hips with its patch pocket. This belt does not cause any discomfort in the practice of water sports or outdoor (ideal for running for example). It even offers an optimal feeling of freedom!
Take your keys and smartphone to the water: it’s possible!
Clearly, this means that it is now possible to take your electronic keys with you when you go in the water. In concrete terms, how does that work ? In fact, the SALTY BELT is the equivalent of a running belt. This waterproof sports belt is adjustable with a scratch and to position around your waist. In addition, it has an integrated pocket, perfectly suited to store the waterproof smartphone case supplied with the belt. So, impossible to lose this waterproof cover! It is attached to the inside of the belt with an elastic buckle for maximum safety. So you just have to put it on at your hips, over your wetsuit or under your boardshort. And now it’s time for a session in the water or outdoors whatever the weather.

We are proud to tell you that the SALTY BELT is a belt made of natural rubber, the Yulex TM. In other words: an alternative to synthetic neoprene that is too harmful to our environment (non-renewable material, energy-intensive manufacturing, etc.). Natural rubber is used in the manufacture of demanding products such as airplane tires or medical gloves. Why ? Because it is stronger and more stretchy than conventional neoprene. It therefore meets our quality requirements while respecting our planet. Because we take care to source from sources certified FSC by the Rainforest Alliance (fight against deforestation and preservation of biodiversity and sustainability).
A patented innovation, Eco Friendly and Made in France
The SALTY BELT waterproof belt is an innovation from our workshops. Not only was it patented in France, but also worldwide with the INPI in 2019. A real pride for our young French company. And in addition the SALTY BELT ALL-IN is entirely produced in France and by hand, in Hossegor in the Landes, directly in the ALL-IN workshop. The proof in picture 🙂. Finally, after all this journey, the SALTY BELT was launched in July 2019 in our network of surfshops and then throughout Europe. The success was immediate with surfers and kitesurfers. We also had the good surprise to see its use extend to other sports: swimming and outdoor sports such as running, climbing, mountain biking, hiking … In summation, all practitioners appreciate its lightness, its solidity and of course its comfort, ALL-IN know-how since day one!
