The historical minute: did you know that these slippers were used, when they were created, to replace the straw used in wooden clogs? They were made from felt that dried the paper in local paper mills in Charentes. The material gave better insulation against the cold and the tongue of the liner was a shock absorber for the abutment of the foot against the hoof! In 1907, these “silent” (name given for the little noise they made when walking, compared to clogs of course!), with Scottish motifs were signed by Théophile Rondinaud and were adopted by the majority of French people. !

On the quality, nothing to say: these are indeed Rondinauds brought up to date and on the design, the ALL-IN touch is present. The colors and patterns of our models blend with the strong designs of our surf accessories, ponchos, surfboard covers, beach bags…
No right or left feet on these timeless shoes that are worn on the feet while walking, but a wide choice of sizes ranging from 35 to 47.

To maintain quality and respect for the environment, we only select raw materials labeled STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® and AZO-FREE. The wool used is 100% virgin and our soles are shaped by several layers of very resistant felt.

Choose the brand’s famous sewn-and-turn technique. The fleece slippers are perfect for chilling at home, you can also wear them after your surf session to have a drink on the terrace at dusk when the air is a bit chilly. Worn indoors and outdoors, the comfort of French know-how will follow you to your toes!
